Summer Camps

1. Log into your Family Portal. (District Code is GMS-PA)
2. Click on "Web Forms" on the left-hand tab and then select "Gladwyne Summer Camp 2025 Registration."
3. Read the camp instructions carefully and then click on your child's name at the bottom of the page.
4. If you are registering more than one child, please complete separate forms for each.
5. Select the correct program for your child. This is determined by your child's school level for the 2025-2026 school year. 

• Toddler Explorers: rising toddler and current toddler students 
• Primary Explorers: rising primary 1 and primary 2 students. 
• Elementary Explorers: rising kindergarteners, rising elementary, and current elementary students 

Once age is selected:

1. Select Half-Day or Full-Day camp.
2. Select New or Returning student for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
3. Select your weeks. 
4. Complete all the form fields accurately, read the Terms and Conditions, add your signature, and click "Save."
5. You will see a notification at the top that the "Web Form Saved."
6. A copy of your selections will be available for your reference on your Family Portal after registration under "Summer Camp 2025 Confirmation Form".
7. You will receive further camp information after registration is received.

Program Details:

 Daily activities in the Toddler Explorer program will include

• Montessori morning in our Toddler classrooms
• "Continent of the Week" thematic activities
• nature explorations
• lunch time (family provided)
• afternoon nap time
• afternoon snacks (school provided)
• weekly special visitors
•  messy art projects
• water play

All classrooms are staffed by Gladwyne Montessori assistant teachers and trained summer camp counselors. The summer camp is supervised by a full-time Gladwyne Montessori administration team. Please be aware that your child(ren)'s teacher for the 2025 Summer Camp may not be the same teacher for the 2025-26 school year.

Enrollment Requirements:

• Open to new and current GMS toddler students enrolled in the 2025-2026 toddler program. 
• Returning GMS students must register for at least four weeks of camp.
• New GMS students must register for at least the first four weeks of camp (Weeks 1 through 4) in order to acclimate to the environment together. 

• All Toddler Explorers must be walking independently prior to starting Summer Camp. 

Requirements for All Campers:

• All campers must have a current health form, a current physical, and immunization records dated within one year of June 10, 2025 submitted to Susan Ballas, School Nurse, by May 1, 2025.
• Please be aware that there will not be a School Nurse on-site during summer camp.
• All students must have an updated Student Information Form submitted via the Family Portal by June 1, 2025. 

Program Details:

 Daily activities in the Primary Explorer program will include:

• Montessori morning in our Primary classrooms
• "Continent of the Week" thematic activities
• outdoor nature explorations
• lunch time (family provided)
• afternoon snacks (school provided)
• weekly special visitors
• STEAM-based projects
• water play

All classrooms are staffed by Gladwyne Montessori assistant teachers and trained summer camp counselors. The summer camp is supervised by a full-time Gladwyne Montessori administration team. Please be aware that your child(ren)'s teacher for the 2025 Summer Camp may not be the same teacher for the 2025-26 school year.

Additional daily activities for our older students will also include sports and team games, hands-on Makerspace projects, gardening on our beautiful campus, and much more. 

Enrollment Requirements: 

• Open to new and current GMS primary 1 and primary 2 students enrolled in the 2025-2026 primary program.
• Returning GMS students enrolling in Primary Explorers must register for at least two weeks of camp. 
• New GMS students enrolling in Primary Explorers register for at least the first two weeks of camp (Weeks 1 and 2) in order to acclimate to the environment together. 
• All Primary Explorers campers must be toilet-independent.
• All full-day Primary Explorers campers must not require nap time.

• Makerspace STEM projects

Additional daily activities for our older students will also include sports and team games, hands-on Makerspace projects, gardening on our beautiful campus, and much more.

• All GMS students enrolling in Elementary Explorers must register for at least two weeks of camp.

• All campers must have a current health form, a current physical, and immunization records dated within one year of June 10, 2025 submitted to Susan Ballas, School Nurse, by May 1, 2025.
• Please be aware that there will not be a School Nurse on-site during summer camp.
• All students must have an updated Student Information Form submitted via the Family Portal by June 1, 2025.

Half Day Camp • 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Full Day Camp  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

No Before or After Camp care is available. 

We are thrilled to announce the dates for the Gladwyne Montessori School  2025 Summer Camp. Registration is now open for all new and returning GMS families. 

• Week One: June 9th - June 13 
• Week Two: June 16 - June 20 (Camp closed on June 19)
• Week Three: June 23 - June 27 
• Week Four: June 30 - July 3 (Camp closed on July 4)
• Week Five: July 7 - July 11 
• Week Six: July 14 - 18 
• Week Seven: July 21 - 25 
• Week Eight: July 28 - August 1 

Summer Camp is open to all current and new toddler, primary, and elementary Gladwyne Montessori families. Full-day camp will be 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., and half-day camp is 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. There will be no before or after care during summer camp.

*At this time, GMS Summer Camp is only available to new and returning GMS families. 

We are looking forward to another incredible Summer Camp at GMS! 

• Billing for this registration will be made through our FACTS tuition system.
• 50% will be charged after your registration to Summer Camp. You will not be charged when you register: you will be invoiced separately through your FACTS tuition system.
• The remaining 50% balance is due May 1, 2025. You will be invoiced separately through your FACTS tuition system.
• Cancellations must be received by May 15, 2025 in order to receive a refund.
• All cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Required Summer Camp Forms:

All forms must be submitted by Friday, May 16. 2025.

Please update this form on the the Family Portal

2. [Report of Physical Exam] including up-to-date immunizations

• • This form must be signed by a physician and submitted to summercamp@gladwyne.org. Nurse Susan will receive your physical through the above email, so it will be on file.
  • If your child is a current Gladwyne Montessori student and your current physical is dated after June 2024, you do not need to complete them again.

3. [Medication Form] for Emergency Medications (if needed)

• This form is only required for students requiring emergency medication to be kept on-site during camp.
  • Any existing emergency medication forms will follow the child from school year to camp and do not need to be completed again.
  • All emergency medications must be submitted in original packaging.
  • This form must be signed by a physician and submitted to summercamp@gladwyne.org.

4. [Medication Form] for Topical Creams (Sunscreen and Diaper Cream) (if needed)

• This form is required for any families sending diaper cream or sunscreen to camp as part of your child/rens supplies.

  • Please use one form for each topical cream or lotion.

  • This form does not require a physician's signature but must be submitted to summercamp@gladwyne.org.
    • Please note: this form does not follow the child from school year to camp, so it must be submitted again.
  • All topical creams must be labeled and placed in a labeled zip-lock bag.
  • Please bring these items to the Summer Camp Supply Drop Off Playdate on June 1st or your child's first day of camp.

Please note: The School Nurse will prepare a list of Health Concerns and Allergies for the Summer Camp before the end of the school year. During Summer Camp, there is no School Nurse on campus. All of our Summer Camp staff and administrators are trained in CPR and First Aid, and will refer to the submitted forms for specific medical information.
