New Indoor Learning Spaces
As educators, we need to provide authentic, open-ended opportunities for today's students to think beyond what is prescribed and expected.
Gladwyne Montessori’s indoor learning spaces will give children an opportunity to discover their innate interests, skills, and talents while gaining the confidence and expertise necessary to use tools and technology to bring their ideas to life.
Specifically, we plan to:

Expand our makerspace to 1,600 square feet, creating a flexible space where old-world trades and handicrafts live in synergy with modern technology and design.

Create an elementary entryway that is warm and inviting for our students.

Create a unique thinking and learning corridor that displays elementary student creations and inspires children as they work.

Introduce programming that dovetails into and enhances our Montessori curriculum, expanding depth of exploration for children of all ages.

Install equipment and furnishings that allow children to explore freely and embark on multi-day projects.
