Tuition Assistance Checklist

Gladwyne Montessori provides need-based tuition assistance to enable children of families who are committed to Montessori education to attend our school. FACTs serves as a third party processor of applicant data. Once an application is submitted, FACTs will verify entries. Reports then become accessible for review by the Tuition Assistance Committee. 

IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES

  • Tuition Assistance applications open - October 1
  • Tuition Assistance application deadline for current families - December 15
  • Tuition Assistance application deadline for Regular Admission - January 7 **Applications accepted on a rolling basis post January 7 
  • Enrollment Agreements due (current students)  - January 27
  • Enrollment Agreements due (new students)  - February 15

Families applying for admission indicate their intention to apply for tuition assistance on the application. Returning students receiving tuition assistance are automatically emailed tuition assistance reminders.

The Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management will email all new applicants and current families who receive assistance in the month of November to share important information and reminders.

Families of applicants for admission must be mindful that they do not wait for an admission decision before completing the process but complete both processes in tandem. All families, including new applicants and current Gladwyne Montessori families, must meet deadlines if they wish to be considered for tuition assistance.

The school will process a tuition assistance application in January, as soon as all required forms have been received, therefore it is in your best interest to complete and submit the necessary documents as soon as possible. Late requests for tuition assistance will be considered only if funds are still available. Steps: 

  1. Complete an online tuition assistance application:

    • After October 1, go to https://online.factsmgt.com/grant-aid/inst/4M21H/landing-page and click on the prompt to begin your Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). Designate The Gladwyne Montessori School. If parents/guardians reside in separate households, each household must complete a separate FACTS tuition assistance application and report all household income and assets.

 

2. Upload all required supporting documentation into FACTs:

  • Copy of your filed 2022 1040 US tax returns with all supporting schedules (e.g. schedule C, schedule E, etc.) and W-2’s and 1099’s by December 15 (if not already submitted)
     
  • Copy of your filed 2022 US business tax returns with all supporting schedules (e.g. US Form 1065, 1120S) by December 15 (if not already submitted)

  • Copy of your last paystub from 2023 by January 15

  • Copy of your 2023 W-2’s and 1099’s by January 31

  • Copy of your most recent 2024 paystub by January 31

  • Copy of your filed 2023 1040 US  tax returns with all supporting schedules (e.g. schedule C, schedule E, etc.) and W-2’s and 1099’s by March 15

  • Copy of your filed 2023 US business tax returns with all supporting schedules (e.g. US Form 1065, 1120S) by March 15
