The Journey is more than a parent education event—it’s an unforgettable opportunity to step into your child’s world.
Guided by Gladwyne Montessori faculty, Head of School, Hadley Ruggles, and Assistant Head of School, Gwen Shangle, this experience offers a hands-on look at Montessori education from Infant through Upper Elementary.
During The Journey, you become the learner:
- Move through classrooms
- Explore authentic Montessori materials
- Take part in lessons led by our teachers
- Gain first-hand insight into how children grow academically, socially, and emotionally through this unique approach to learning
The experience culminates in the Kindergym, where participants engage in a final lesson followed by time for reflection and conversation. Parents often leave with a new perspective, not only about their child’s daily school life, but also about themselves and the way authentic learning takes place. Many describe it as eye-opening, inspiring, and even transformative.
