After graduating college, Coleen spent time with the United States Air Force Reserves for eight years, working on C-141 aircraft maintenance. She then worked at a law firm for many years until the owner’s retirement, before finding her way to Gladwyne Montessori. She is excited for this new chapter that includes being part of the Gladwyne community. Outside of school, Coleen has two children who are both very active in sports, and she spends much of her time cheering them on at football, soccer, and basketball games! She also enjoys quiet nights at home with her family and a good book.

After teaching at a Montessori school in Park City Utah, Audra and her family moved back to Pennsylvania. She was drawn to the history and strong Montessori community of the school. Her husband attended a Montessori preschool and she is the mother of three Montessori children. When Audra is not at school, she enjoys hiking, camping, biking, reading and watching movies with her family.
With 31 years experience as a nurse, Susan went through local schools, obtaining a BSN from Villanova University, a MSN from the University or Pennsylvania, and a School Nurse Certification from Eastern University. She previously worked as a manager and Director of Nursing for 14 years and as a clinical instructor at Penn for 15. The opportunity for providing improved nursing and medical support to the Gladwyne Montesorri community brought her here, coupled with the fact that her children attended the school. Outside of nursing, Susan needle points, plays Canasta, and enjoys time with her 4 children.
Her first born son and her desire to move from the fashion industry in New York City to working from children brought her to the Gladwyne Montessori. Kadeja has a passion and extensive background creatively working with and teaching children. This wife and mother of two beautiful boys loves spending time traveling, sewing and discovering new crafts. Michelle was drawn to education, glad to interact daily with children and to share their general joy and wonder. Montessori found her somewhere after her very early experiences teaching. After several years working in Montessori Upper Elementary in schools both public and private, she stayed at home with her two children. She enthusiastically rejoins the Montessori teaching community with a special interest in Early Childhood. If Michelle's children are asleep, and she can lift her head from her mystery novel, she has been known to practice yoga, bike, cook and practice beginner-level piano [think of Zuzu from "It's A Wonderful Life playing "Hark The Herald Angels Sing"].
Mimi heard many friends and acquaintances rave about the care their children received at Gladwyne Montessori. She finally had the opportunity to experience the classroom atmosphere herself through "Special Friend's Day". Ever since then, Mimi has dreamed about working at the school. Luckily, her dream came true! She likes to cook, read and spend time with her husband when she is not in the classroom. She also enjoys running when she has the time.
