SNOW DAY Procedures

- Our school closing number is 349
As a courtesy, we will also use the automated phone system in conjunction with KYW 1060 to announce snow closings.
In non-snow closings (power outage, raccoon in the ceiling, etc.) we will call you with the automated phone system and if possible also use KYW 1060.
If KYW reports "349 opening two hours late," we will follow this schedule:
- Elementary: School will open at 10:30 am.
- Primary All-day: School will open at 10:30 am. Fridays are optional.
- Primary Half-day: Optional - school will open at 10:30 am.
- Stepping Stones (morning): No School
- Stepping Stones (afternoon): Held as usual
- Toddler classes that begin at 9:30 am: Cancelled
- Toddler classes that begin at 11:00 am: Held as usual
- La Casa, Study Hall and After School Activities :Held as usual. (We will notify you by phone if these activities are cancelled)
- If your child is bused, connect to KYW's web site and enter your home school district number to ascertain if your bus service will be in operation.

Once school opens, it almost never closes early because so many of our children have no place to go. If you are worried about weather conditions, you can come and take your child home at any time. Do not believe that we are closing early because you heard that some district is.
Note: It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to check for snow closings.
