Welcome to the Gladwyne Montessori!  Since becoming a member of the Board of Trustees, I have learned that Gladwyne Montessori is a wonderful place for children! It is a vibrant learning community grounded in Montessori philosophy and practice.  Most surprising is just how much the principles of Montessori intersect with what has come to be called,  “21st Century learning."  In fact, many of those skills cited as essential in our contemporary and evolving global environment – initiative, self-direction, creativity, innovation and social responsibility – are embedded in Montessori philosophy and are the outcomes of a Gladwyne Montessori education.

It is a great privilege to preside over the Board of Trustees of Gladwyne Montessori. Our not-for-profit organization is governed by a Board of Trustees that meets monthly to establish the school’s policies and oversee the general operation of the school.  The Head of School is appointed by the Board for the purpose of attending to the normal operational concerns of the School.
