Ways to Give

Thank you for considering a gift to Gladwyne Montessori School.  There are many different ways to show your support:

Cash Gifts:

The simplest way to give to GMS is with a gift of cash.  Cash gifts can be paid by cash, check (made payable to Gladwyne Montessori School) or credit card (Visa and Mastercard). 

Matching Gifts:

Many companies will match their employees’ charitable donations, dollar for dollar.  Please check with your employer’s Human Resources Department regarding the specifics of your company’s plan.  Matching Gifts Programs often double the amount of your donation.  Simply obtain the necessary form from your Human Resources Department and we will do the rest!

United Way Donations:

GMS is a designated United Way recipient, our donor number is 03755.

Stock Gifts:

You can also designate your gift to one of the following areas:

The Ann Schwarz Scholarship Fund in Memory of Lauren Freundlich – This Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Ann’s retirement after 35 years of teaching at GMS as a way to commemorate “Apple Annie’s” indelible mark left on the GMS community.  Lauren Freundlich was Ann’s beloved student who passed away in 1991 when Senator Heinz’s plane crashed at Merion Elementary School.  It is Ann’s wish that this fund be used to increase the accessibility of a GMS education for generations of future children.

The Adrianne Slattery Nature & Earth Science Enrichment Fund – Upon Adrianne’s retirement from GMS, her dream was “to establish a fund that would enhance our fantastic science program by bringing specialists in to share their knowledge and inspire our GMS students.”  Gifts to this fund enable the Montessori experience to come alive as elementary students learn through science.

Attribute your Annual Giving gift to one of the following budgeted areas of operations: Arts, Athletics, Building & Grounds, Classroom Materials, Financial Aid, Library, Nature Studies, Professional Development, or Technology.
