Exciting opportunities available near Philadelphia, PA for Montessori trained teachers! Our School, which offers programs for students from two years old through sixth grade, is seeking individuals to teach in multi-age Montessori classrooms. BA or BS required, as well as Montessori credential (AMS/AMI) or willingness to do Montessori training at school’s expense next summer. Previous classroom experience preferred. Must show ability to work collaboratively for the benefit of each child and the school, as well as commitment to professional development and growth.
One of the oldest and most established Montessori schools in the country, Gladwyne Montessori School was founded in 1962 and serves over 270 students. The mission of GMS is

We offer a low student/teacher ratio and highly experienced staff. Our children are taught by Montessori trained teachers in multi-aged classrooms, according to the Montessori philosophy. Our students receive additional instruction in Spanish, Art, Music, Computer Use and Physical Education. Located six miles outside of Philadelphia, in Gladwyne, PA, we make extensive use of the area’s rich cultural and environmental diversity by incorporating guest visitors, field trips and other activities. Our unique facilities feature sunny, spacious classrooms, a computer center, gymnasium and three libraries.
