Pennsylvania businesses can direct their state taxes to The Gladwyne Montessori School through the EITC program and have a say in how their tax dollars are spent.

Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program awards tax credits to businesses that make contributions to scholarship organizations.  Businesses both large and small can benefit from this tax credit program.

The Gladwyne Montessori School has been approved as a scholarship organization through the EITC program.  A designation to The Gladwyne Montessori School’s scholarship program can provide your company (or a company that you are associated with) a tax credit of up to 90% through the Pennsylvania EITC program.  This is a direct tax credit, not a tax deduction!

If a business pays any of the following corporate taxes to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the EITC program allows that business to contribute almost all of those tax dollars to The Gladwyne Montessori School’s scholarship programs:

  • Corporate Net Income Tax (CNIT)
  • Capital Stock Franchise Tax
  • Bank and Trust Company Shares Tax
  • Title Insurance Companies Shares Tax
  • Insurance Premiums Tax
  • Mutual Thrift Institutions Tax

The Gladwyne Montessori School participates as both an EITC Scholarship Organization and Pre-K Scholarship Organization. Your contribution will be used for need-based financial assistance to help families provide a GMS education for their children.
