GMS Community Service

Left: Primary teacher Ann Schwarz and other teachers lead All Dayers and Elementary students around Gladwyne Park, across the street from the school, to pick up trash. Teachers and students do this 2 or 3 times per year.
Middle: GMS families collected over 30 turkeys and other food over Thanksgiving to send to the ElderNet of Narberth & Lower Merion.
Right: Primary students cut vegetables that were baked into casseroles for the homeless shelter, St. John's Hospice.
Community service has been an integral part of the Gladwyne Montessori PTA for many years and is ever expanding depending on the ideas and suggestions of our school community. We are committed to the many faces of community service and involve our children at school in as many ways as possible. If you are interested in any of the projects listed below or have further suggestions please contact one of this year’s co-chairs. Your help will be much appreciated
